It The Apple WWDC 2022 is underway and there are some exciting announcements underway. The big development show includes new developments for all of Apple operating systems including iOS16, iPadOS16, macOS13, WatchOS9, and tvOS16. iOS 16 Announced
The iOS reveal is here and there are ton of new updates to look at. From a completely revamped lock screen. the notifications will now appear at the bottom of the screen which is definitely a unique approach to using a smartphone. Users will now be able to edit messages in iMessage and will also enable you to use multimedia options simultaneously.
Buy now, Pay Later
Apple has now introduced a new program called ‘Apple Pay Later’ which will allow users to purchase things with Apple Pay and then allow them to pay the entire amount in four payments over the next six weeks. The best part, Apple hasn’t mentioned an interest fee on the same.
Shared iCloud Library and Family Sharing tweaks
The new updates to the Shared iCloud library will allow users to share photos easily. It will also make it easier to edit images so changes are reflected in all devices the image is shared with. As for family sharing, parents now have more parental control options at their disposal. For example, they can now allow kids more screentime where kids can request more time as well.
Safety Check App
Apple is on a mission to ensure the domestic safety very seriously as it will ensure the safety of users from domestic abuse. Users will be able to turn of their locations, reset their phones and will also limit access to their devices.
CarPlay Updates
CarPlay is getting some interesting new updates as well. For example, users will be able to access many more apps thanks to the new updates where they will also be able to control the temperature of their car. Users will also be ale to customise their display to ensure they only see what they want to.
Apple M2 Chip
The moment we were waiting for is finally here. Apple has finally announced the M2 chip, the successor to its M1 chip.
The M2 chip is features a 5nm architecture which has over 20 billion transistors. It also delivers around an 18% more performance than the M2 chip
