As Ezra Miller makes the headlines for all the wrong reasons, Warner Bros. Discovery is now considering not working with the actor moving forward—once The Flash releases in June 2023.
This is according to a report from Deadline, which says that Miller “is simply not a part of those plans going forward in the future universe regardless if there are more allegations or not”, which means that Miller will not be a part of DCEU after their film comes out.
Another source added:
In their latest controversy, Ezra Miller caused a mother and her 12-year-old child to get a temporary harassment prevention order against them. According to reports, Miller acted inappropriately towards the child and their family.
In another, the parents of an 18-year-old girl accused Ezra of grooming their daughter. They alleged that the Fantastic Beasts star supplied their daughter with alcohol, marijuana, and LSD. The parents were granted a protective order from a court, which prevents Miller from contacting the mother and daughter for the next 30 days.
Ezra is said to be on the run, as the court hasn’t been able to locate them to serve the order. Ezra Miller’s verified Instagram account (@ezra._x_.aradia) has also been deleted, which had memes posted on it mocking authorities about their whereabouts.
A prequel comic titled The Flash: The Fastest Man Alive #1 is set for release in September to promote The Flash film. A variant cover of the comic drawn by the film’s director Andy Muschietti was revealed. The artwork was met with a negative response due to the controversies surrounding the actor, and the cover has been reportedly pulled by DC.
The Flash was announced in 2014 and the movie will release after nine years in theatres.
